Commissioning Custom Work

Interested in a commission? If you are looking for just the right piece to showcase a beautiful part of your home or other space, there is nothing more exciting than commissioning a one of a kind piece which is customized to your dream environment. I love to collaborate in this manner and am honored to help you achieve your unique vision.

Here is a summary of the process: If you order a commission piece, I will paint at least two pieces in order ensure that I can keep the work fresh and intuitive. You/your client get to pick your favorite of the pieces. This helps guarantee you get something you absolutely love! Here’s how the process begins: You will pick 3-5 pieces of my previous work that resonates with you the most. This will help me narrow down the feeling and look you would like to achieve. We will meet virtually to discuss the work before I begin (or in person, where location makes that feasible).

We will set a color palette, dimensions, and surface (wood, canvas, paper), and any other details needed. I will show you each piece when I am about 80% finished, to allow for minor adjustments. A 60% deposit is due before I begin work, and the other 40% before delivery. The commission process takes approximately eight weeks. Let’s talk about planning your bespoke piece!
